I'm Aya El-Shemy, a Secondary Mathematics Teacher and Computer Science graduate passionate about transforming the way students experience Mathematics. Over the past three years, I have been teaching Mathematics in English while designing engaging, student-centered classrooms that encourage curiosity, critical thinking, and real understanding rather than memorization. Alongside my classroom experience, I bring more than six years of experience in training and educational content development, where I designed learning programs, developed educational materials, and trained learners in Mathematics, Programming, and Design through educational academies such as Codey, Coding College, Easy Math, and others. My experience goes beyond classroom instruction. I have designed complete learning experiences—from defining learning objectives and planning instructional journeys to creating presentations, activities, projects, assessments, and interactive educational content. I also mentored instructors and contributed to improving training materials to make learning more engaging and effective. Academically, I hold a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, a Postgraduate Diploma in Mathematics Education, and I am currently pursuing postgraduate studies in Learning Disabilities and Educational Technology. These studies continue to shape my teaching philosophy and help me better support diverse learners. As an educator, I see learning as a journey of continuous growth—for both students and teachers. I am always looking for new ways to improve my practice, collaborate with fellow educators, and contribute to innovative learning environments where students can thrive.
